"What are you wearing? "

Yes, that's the question on the course these days.  Not "how's your game," or "what's your handicap."  No, these days it's all about having a good time and looking great.  Accessorizing, if you will.

And when they ask you the all important question, of course you want your answer to be, "Oh, only the latest and greatest 'you know who' label."

But seriously—have you seen what they're wearing on the golf course these days?  Gone is the quiet sophistication of pastels and plaids, expensive nondescript golf shoes and dull white golf balls, replaced by bold strokes of color and print, coordinating accessories and high tech equipment.

I don't know about you, but some of this stuff looks more like it belongs on a dance floor than a golf course.  Cherry Bomb, Shaggadelic—what is that?  Does it bite?  Bark?

"Hey, buddy, pipe down.  I can hear your clothes from here!"

Well…it's all in the eye of the beholder, right?  So what if I like fuschia with a dab of aqua and a few diamonds in yellow.  Makes me feel cheery, adds a spring to my step, a zing to my swing.

And don't forget the kids!  There are some of the cutest, most adorable clothes out there for the wee ones these days, though I don't know if it's such a good idea.  Should they really be out there, getting those fine threads dirty? 

Maybe the parents are opting for a head start on their retirement plan by getting the kids excited about golf now, while it's cool.

"Where would like to go this winter, Mom?"

"I hear Hawaii's nice this time of year."   She's such a good girl, isn't she?  And you should see her swing!  Like she's been playing golf ever since she was a little girl…

But it's those colored golf balls that will make the biggest splash.  Not literally, we hope, but they will get you noticed.

"Well, hellooooo Crystal…"

"My name isn't Crystal."

"I was referring to your golf balls.  Though while we're making introductions, my name is Ralph."

While it's true pick up lines don't improve outside of the lounge, you can still look your best—all you have to do is take a stroll through your nearest Golf Boutique for the brightest print of your choice, then secure your coordinating golf balls from CRYSTAL GOLF; the leader in color and style!
